Maggie and Tony held their wedding celebration this Spring in Lake Tahoe with all of their favorite people, and it was a dream!!! They had to postpone their wedding day in 2020 due to covid, decided to elope just them and a few close friends and family, and then had their bigger celebration this year! Keep reading to learn more about their wedding day and hear what Maggie had to say!

Their Epic Spring Wedding in Lake Tahoe

Maggie started out the day by getting ready with her best friends in Reno. They had wine, charcuterie, music playing and it was a vibe. When I arrived they were finishing up hair and makeup and enjoying each other’s company. Maggie got ready and put on her wedding dress with the help of her friends, and then we all headed out for the ceremony!

Their ceremony was in the gorgeous Lake Tahoe forest, and it was a dream!! Their friends built their arch for them, and it’s the same one that they got married under in 2020. So it was super sentimental to them. When we took family photos, the wind started to pick up. The arch almost crushed the bridal party at one point and it was so scary hahah. Some of the guys put rocks on it and staked it down to try and help.

Everyone left, and headed back to Maggie and Tony’s home. They live in Reno and bought their first house together a few years back, and wanted to have a chill reception/hangout in their backyard. Sounds perfect. We made it back, and then walked to The Chapel which is a bar a few blocks from their home. Maggie and Tony go on date nights all the time and walk here, so they wanted to incorporate this epic tradition on their wedding day!! They ordered their fave beers and sat on the patio, and enjoyed some time alone together. It was beautiful.

Their evening was filled with the most amazing live music thanks to So Soul (a local band that are some of their friends), tacos and drinks, and lots of quality time.
