City Engagement Photos in Reno
Nicole and Cody wanted to take city engagement photos in Reno since it’s where they hold so many special memories together! I met Nicole back in high school and we were actually on the swim team together– haha we go way back!! Last year, I did a shoot with them for a mentorship, you can check that out here! And then shortly after that, Cody proposed!!! She reached out to me and booked me for their wedding and engagements and I could barely contain my excitement!!
Nicole told me that they love going downtown for drinks together, love walking the river and have made so many special memories there together! Nicole told me that she’s not much of a hiker, so she figured Reno would be perfect for their engagements, and I couldn’t agree more!!

Nicole, Cody and I started out the evening at a bar downtown which they’ve been to tons of times!! We got some drinks and hangout, caught up on life, and then hit the town! We explored the streets, people watched haha and then found a really cool alleyway to take photos at for awhile. Cody really wanted to wear their dressier clothes in a “sketch” alleyway so we did. Although it doesn’t look too sketchy to me– they loved it haha and that’s all that matters!!
The sun started to go down and we ended the evening on top of a garage building downtown. It was the perfect place to capture that last little bit of light before it dipped behind the mountain! We LAUGHEDDD and danced (we were a little bit tipsy hahah) and had the best time celebrating the two of them and this special time in their lives!!
I can’t even wait for your wedding day next fall, it’s going to be the best day ever!!! Congrats you two – love you so big.
