This summer I captured Cristan and Jr’s stormy Donner Lake Engagement photos! They brought their pup and we explored around the lake until sundown. Come check it out!

A Stormy Day in Donner Lake, Truckee

Cristian and Jr are seriously one of the cutest couples I’ve ever met. Cristian is such a giggly, bubbly person inside and out and they just really complement each other so well! They also brought their dog and want to take photos with him on the dock near the water so we did! Their dog is so cute and even tried jumping in the water at one point to grab a ball that he had found. Even though it was a stormy day and a bit chilly, it made for the most beautiful, cloudy photos. We danced on the dock, chatted about their wedding, and took in the views behind us.

Then we explored to the other side of the lake and took our shoes off to play near the water. We chased the geese that were nearby, listened to music and just enjoyed this time celebrating the two of them! Donner Lake is such a beautiful place to capture your engagements because there’s so many different places that you can visit. It’s seriously one of my favorite places ever!
