the stories of my couples and their biggest adventure yet
We danced to music, explored lake side, they took their shoes off and got their feet a little wet and dirty as they navigated over the rocks, and celebrated the fact that they’re now married!!! Getting the chance to become such close friends with these two, and then getting to capture their
Earlier this Spring Ashley and Yami drove out into the middle of no where in Black Rock Desert and we captured them under the stars. It was one of my first times playing around with astro photography and it was such a dream!!! Then I whipped out my flash and we took cute photos of them in the dark. So freaking obsessed with them and these photos and can’t thank them enough for modeling for me for the Transformed Content Days this past February!!! Love ya’ll so much!!
Carlene and Bob brought out their ATV’s and quad’s and we drove around Sand Mountain early at sunrise this Spring!! They come out to Sand Mountain in Fallon all the time to hang with their friends, camp, and race on the sand– so this session was so fitting for them!! Such a fun morning– love ya’ll so much!!!
Carlene and Bobby wanted to celebrate their anniversary doing their favorite thing– exploring around Lake Tahoe with their pups while playing in the snow. We had the best time having snow ball fights, laughing with their dogs running around and exploring their backyard together this winter. Thanks for letting me capture this beautiful time in your lives!!
This fall we went up to this gorgeous, golden meadow in South Lake Tahoe to shoot their engagement photos with their lil pup as well! This meadow had the most insane, beautiful sun pouring into the valley of dried grass and we were all living for it. We explored the meadow together, listening to music and dancing around and laughing until the sun tucked behind the mountains. I couldn’t get over their puppy because he’s just the cutest thing ever!! I literally held him the whole time while I shot with Collie and Derek hahah.
We shot at Sand Harbor State Park and the water almost looked like the ocean with how big the waves were getting. They were the biggest troupers though and ran around in their bathing suits anyway for us even though it was so cold!! They could barely hear us when we were directing them hahaha it was nuts. We did what we could but the weather was just getting was too bad– so we decided to call it, especially so they didn’t get sick. Thank goodness we did too because it literally started SNOWING on the way back down the hill from Lake Tahoe. Like what?! In July?!?! Insane.
We met up with Nicole and Cody and took photos until sundown out at Eagle Rock in Lake Tahoe. It was a chilly and kinda windy day but we just rolled with it and they totally rocked it. They brought beers and cuddled up in a blanket overlooking the lake and it was a friggen dream!!!
Had the cutest, dreamiest in home maternity session with these two this spring!! They live nestled up in the pines in Truckee, California and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention their home is the friggen cutest ever. So beyond excited for you two and your little one on the way!!!
Jake and I took our 4 year anniversary photos at Pyramid Lake this summer and it was the most perfect, warm summer day in the desert. (Sooo overdue on them hahah we took them 3 months late OOPS). My girl Brooke (Brooke Shannon Photography) met us at our apartment and greeted me with a birthday gift and the biggest hug!! I adore her so dang much!!! Also the bag was covered in glitter which I got ALL over my pants and then proceeded to get all over Jake– she felt so bad since we were about to take photos hahah. Jake ran it upstairs for me, we grabbed Rocky (our pup) and we all hopped in Jake’s truck!
All Tayylor wanted was a winter photoshoot filled with snow so we made it happen!! She literally sent me inspo photos for months leading up to this haha. We planned this shoot back in 2019 and were so excited when the day finally came. The two of them didn’t have the best experience with the last pohtographer that they shot with– so it was an honor to get them in front of my lens bein themselves and leaving so happy.
"When looking for a photographer for our elopement, Bridgette came highly recommended by a friend. After spending time browsing her photos, I knew we could not pass up the opportunity to shoot with someone who could capture mine and my husband’s quirky love so well! Bridgette was so accommodating and excited from the first time we spoke. She continued to show the accommodation and excitement through the cold weather during our engagement shoot and wedding day. She goes above and beyond and came so well prepared it made the day a breeze. Her sunny personally and calming effect really helped ease the stress of being in front of the camera. The photos turned out so beautiful, and that is just the icing on the cake during this whole experience. We feel like we became friends with Bridgette and can’t wait to work with her again in the future!"
