Jacquelyn and Patrick wanted city photos, so we did just that! We took downtown Reno engagement photos and it was a dream!! Check it out:
We started out shooting on the rooftop of a parking garage in their more casual outfits, it was so cute! Jacquelyn had black docks on and Patrick’s outfit meshed so well with hers. We listened to music, laughed and tried not to slip since there was still some snow on the roof, lol!
As we were walking back down to the cars, I found the most gorgeous light coming through the side of the parking garage. Sometimes I get these visions and creative urges and just go with them, and love when my couples fully trust me to make magic. I placed them in the light and worked with these really rad angles and shadows, I’m obsessed to say the least haha.
After the parking garage, we walked around the city for a bit! We found some cool architecture to work with that really pulled her vision to life for her downtown city engagement session vibes. The sun started to dip, so we went into the Renaissance hotel and they changed into their fancier outfits. Jacquelyn wore this gorgeous white dress and heels and Patrick walked out in slacks and a nice button up– they looked amazing!
We shot inside the hotel and underneath the Biggest Little City sign in Reno as well! It’s definitely a must if you’re shooting city engagement photos.
By this point, the sun had basically gone down so we headed back inside the hotel. We really wanted photos with an elevator, so we made that our top priority after we got back. P.S. trying to get an empty elevator was harder than it seemed to take these photos hahah! But we finally found one and made it happen!!
