Fall Lake Tahoe Engagement Photos

Maddy and Tyler drove in from NorCal to celebrate their fall Lake Tahoe engagement photos with me!!! We took photos in this golden meadow in South Lake and it was an absolute dream! She instantly knew she wanted photos in a meadow once I showed her this location and was like YESSS. THIS IS IT. So we made it happen!!!

I met Maddy a few years back when I shot her best friend Brooke’s wedding in California!! She followed me on Instagram ever since and literally months before she was even engaged, she sends me a message that says: “Hiiiii, I’m not engaged but I HAVE to have you be my photographer, so how do I book you?” LOLLLLL I was so excited and hyped and floored she messaged me even before she was engaged!!! She told me they were kinda planning it out together so she knew it was coming, so it was totally fine planning out her engagements and wedding date before they were even engaged! Obsessed with her haha.

Golden Meadow Photos in Lake Tahoe

So anyway, back to their story! We met up at this gorgeous fall meadow in Lake Tahoe right before sunset. We captured all the emotion and excitement in the golden grass filled meadow. It’s seriously one of my faves in Tahoe this time of year.

We explored in the meadow, and then went back to their car to change outfits! The sun was just dipping over the mountain so it was getting super cold, especially since it was right before winter hit. We explored in the pine trees and then checked out the lake on the other side of the hill! It was so gorgeous!!!

Maddy & Tyler, I can’t even wait to celebrate your wedding with you this year, it’s gonna be a dream!!!
