Review from my bride:
“Bridgette…there are no words. We just spent the past hour looking at each of these photos in detail and we are dumbfounded. These photos are so beautiful, so perfect, so personal and just incredible. Seriously. We could not have imagined a better person to work with than you to capture THE best day of our lives. Everything you sent us is literally perfect. I’m in awe. You are so talented and the sweetest human ever, which made these photos turn out even better because we could be ourselves in front of the camera. I cannot thank you enough for the love and time you put into capturing and editing these. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
One of the most meaningful wedding days I captured this summer was Taylor and Reid. They were originally supposed to elope in Yosemite National Park, but because of covid– they decided to get married in their parents backyard in Sparks, Nevada.
They got ready together at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, and had their first look at a place that’s so special to them– the University of Nevada Reno. We took photos right near sundown in the green grassy meadow and I about balled when they saw each other for the first time. So many emotions and tears– PURE joy. It was beautiful.
We drove out to Sparks for their ceremony and all of their family and friends greeted them with open arms and hugs and lots of yummy drinks + charcuterie boards! They decorated the entire backyard top to bottom and it was gorgeous!!! They walked down the aisle with their dogs and that’s the moment I knew these people are so friggen rad. Dogs are part of the family okay!? So awesome.
The celebrated with their favorite people on earth until way past the glow of the sun went down behind the mountains. You could see alllll the lights of the city from their backyard and it was so beautiful. What a friggen way to end the best day!!
I’m so beyond thankful for you two!!! Cannot even tell you how stoked I am for this next chapter in your lives.
