Taylor and Alex had a Resort at Squaw Creek Wedding this fall and it was absolutely stunning! Come checkout this gorgeous fall wedding day:
Taylor and Alex had the most gorgeous fall wedding day this year!! The weather was super stormy the day before and morning of, so Taylor was super nervous about everything being super wet and muddy, but it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The weather cleared up as everyone finished getting ready, and they had so much fun making memories, celebrating and jamming to music together, and partying all night long!
Taylor and the girls got ready at this gorgeous Airbnb in Lake Tahoe, right outside of Squaw Valley, now known as the Palisades. You can read about the name change and the meaning behind it, here.
Taylor had the cutest lil pearl robe on while she sipped on some champagne that morning — the best freaking way to start your wedding day, amirite?! The boys got ready in a rental nearby, and cheers’d shots of alcohol and ate some pizza. They truly were living their dream lives and I’m so here for it.
Once Taylor was ready, she shared a first look with her bridesmaids, and then her dad outside. Both first looks were so special and everyone started tearing up seeing Taylor fully ready for her wedding day!
Then I drove her to this gorgeous, golden meadow outside of the Resort at Squaw Creek to share her first look with Alex. He was waiting for her in the meadow and started tearing up when he saw her for the first time too! It was such a beautiful moment to witness.
Their entire wedding party met us at the meadow after we took some photos of the two of them, cranked some music and took photos together! We had so much fun!! Taylor and Alex’s families also met us at the meadow to get all of their family photos knocked out prior to the ceremony, which saved them so much time afterwards to just mingle and be preset after they were married. It was the best!
We all drove 5 minutes up the road for their wedding ceremony at the Resort at Squaw Creek. It overlooked Lake Tahoe’s massive mountains, with a small creek in the background. It was breathtaking.
Alex teared up when Taylor was walking down the aisle, even though he had already saw her prior. These two have such a sentimental, sweet relationship and it was such an honor to capture.
They exchanged rings, and got freakin married in front of all their friends and family!!! HELL YEAHHH! Afterwards, they went up to cocktail hour and spent quality time with their loved ones.
One of my favorite aspects of weddings lately, is that the couple wants to make intentional time to join their loved ones for cocktail hour. Most weddings, there isn’t time for them to join since we’re taking family photos or couples photos, but since we knocked all of that out prior, they could spend the entire hour soaking in this time celebrating with them.
The rest of the evening consisted of special dances with their parents and each other, speeches and getting down on the dance floor!! It was epic.
Congrats Taylor and Alex!!!! So honored to have been apart of your wedding day, it was absolutely stunning!
