Dreamy Lake Tahoe Engagement Photos

Monica and Thomas wanted summer Lake Tahoe engagements so that’s exactly what we did! They traveled from Cali to Tahoe to celebrate their engagement and I took them to one of my favorite places at the lake. We hiked down to this gorgeous lookout right next to the water and it was perfectttt! Come check it out:

We started our shoot with them dressing to the 9’s and overlooking Tahoe showing off for us. Monica wore this gorgeous floor length black dress with heels and Thomas wore a button up and suit pants with dress shoes — like are you kidding!? They looked so dang good! We explored on the rock formations overlooking Cave Rock and it was a dream.

Monica also really wanted to capture all the blues and greens of Lake Tahoe, so we decided to shoot mid-day (like literally noon hahah) and it was MAGICCCC!! I can’t say this enough, but I absolutely love shooting mid-day and not just at sunset, because of the gorgeous colors that pop and come out, they’re absotluely gorgeous.

Then they changed into a more casual outfit, and we made our way down the hill to get closer to the lake. The hike is freaking STEEEEEP lol, but SO WORTH IT! We made it to the bottom and took everything in, it was so beautiful this day. A slight breeze and warm sun, perfect. Then we went onto the rock formations to actually get to the water, and Monica put her toes in the water and was so shocked at how cold the water was!! LOL. Lake Tahoe water is definitely so much colder than the cali coast so watching her reaction was hilarious haha!

I had the best time capturing their engagements, and can’t even wait for their wedding next year!!! Love y’all!!!!
