Modern Wedding at the Corner Barn in Graeagle, CA

Maddy and Carter had the most gorgeous summer wedding day at the Corner Barn!! They booked me 3 weeks before their wedding (I KNOW!), unfortunately because their original wedding photographer fell through on them last minute. Obviously a horrible situation but I’m so thankful I was available and could work with these two perfect humans!! Getting to know them and capturing the best day of their lives was an absolute dream. So so thankful for you two!!

Maddy and Carter got ready at their parents home nearby the venue with their friends and family. This summer day was absolutely gorgeous. It wasn’t too hot, slight breeze, partly cloudy — amazing. Maddy had a first look with her bridesmaids and her dad, and they were both so emotional. There wasn’t a dry eye around.

We all headed to the venue and got ready for their ceremony. It was filled with all of their favorite people and so many beautiful flowers and decor. Maddy started walking down the aisle and Carter’s reaction was so sweet. He was so overwhelmed, excited, nervous, allll the feels seeing his bride. They had their good friend Miles officiate the ceremony, they prayed and shared their vows, and said I do!!!

At sundown, I took some of my favorite wedding portraits of all time. We headed up to the train tracks and a train just so happened to be going by right after we got up there. We stood close & were safe of course, and captured the train flying by them!!! It was so surreal and such an awesome moment.

The rest of the night was filled with toasts, dances, and so much love filling the room to celebrate these two. Maddy and Carter — freakin congrats!! So honored to be apart of it all! xx
