Summer Lake Tahoe Elopement

Jackie and Tucker’s summer elopement in Incline Village was the perfect reminder that your wedding day doesn’t have to look like a traditional wedding to feel incredibly meaningful. With 15 of their closest loved ones, a lakefront Airbnb, and a private chef, their day was absolutely perfect.

We started the afternoon at Gar Woods, one of my favorite spots for soaking in the Lake Tahoe scenery. From there, we spent some time taking photos along the dock and beach! Jackie and Tucker wanted their elopement to be slow and meaningful, and that’s exactly what we did.

Afterward, we headed back to the incredible Airbnb they rented in Incline Village. The property overlooked Lake Tahoe and was the perfect setting for an intimate celebration with their closest friends and family! It was so special spending the entire evening with them. With their 15 favorite people gathered around them, Jackie and Tucker exchanged vows overlooking the lake! Their ceremony was intimate and emotional, and they did the damn thing! It was simple, intentional, and exactly what an elopement should be.

After the ceremony, we took family photos before moving into the celebration portion of the evening. And of course, there was cake! Jackie and Tucker cut their cake with sparklers tucked right into it, creating one of the most fun little moments of the day.

As the sun began to set over Lake Tahoe, everyone gathered together for dinner prepared by their private chef. They enjoyed appetizers and drinks while their loved ones shared heartfelt toasts and speeches. It felt less like a traditional wedding reception and more like an unforgettable dinner party. It was amazing!!

Jackie and Tucker’s Incline Village elopement was a beautiful example of how intentional and meaningful a small wedding can be. No huge guest list or elaborate production was needed. Just the two of them, their favorite people, an incredible view of Lake Tahoe, and an entire evening centered around celebrating their love.
