Karly & Alex’s Wedding Day

Karly and Alex celebrated their wedding at the Timbers at Old Greenwood and it was my first wedding shooting at this venue before! It was truly a dream getting to work here. Perfect crisp fall weather, sunny skies, and a slight breeze.

The morning started out with the girls getting ready together, right on the golf course! They sipped champagne, and Karly opened gifts from Alex as her friends and family watched. It was so special! Her mom helped her slip into her wedding dress, and then she had a first look with her dad on the back deck of the cabin. Truly such a special moment.

While the girls were getting ready, my second shooter captured Alex and the boys getting ready as well! This is why it’s so nice to have a second shooter, to capture multiple things happening at once.

Once Karly and Alex were ready for the day, they shared a first look at the venue, off the golf course within the pines. This venue truly offers so many locations for portraits for the couple, family, and wedding parties, it’s amazing! They were SO happy to see each other for the first time, embraced each other, and then shared their personal vows with each other. From there, we took some couples photos because the light was so beautifullll.

Their ceremony and reception was incredible, down to every detail! They declared their love for each other, and then partied the freaking night away. At one point during their reception we drove off to take some photos at sunset and I’m so glad we did!! They’re truly some of my favorite photos of the day.
