This sunrise Lake Tahoe engagement session is so special to me! Kacey is a good friend of mine from high school so getting to capture their engagement photos was so meaningful and special. We started at the top of the lake overlooking South Lake Tahoe and then slowly made our way down through the trees and onto the beach.

A DREAM FALL SUNRISE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT

We met in the parking lot before the sun had even come up, and as I saw them rolling up I jumped out of my car and gave them the biggest hug!! Kacey and I went to high school together so after not seeing her for a few years it was so good to see her again and welcome them that morning! We had a few different locations that we were playing around with and couldn’t decide exactly where we wanted to go, but finally decided on Emerald Bay because of how epic it is.

They literally drove from San Francisco all the way to Tahoe the night before, and then woke up and got ready for sunrise for their engagement photos. And then they literally drove home right after to greet family and head out to the Bahamas the next day. They live on the wild side hahah. They have the most contagious laughs and lighthearted relationship together! Always on the go, especially to the coast with their pups.

We explored some of my favorite spots in South Lake and ended our photoshoot on the lake next to the water. We laughed and cried and shared stories about their wedding, which I just shot as I’m typing this!!! I can’t wait to share their epic wedding at Deep Park Villa so soon!
