Winter Lake Tahoe Engagement Photos || Katie & Preston

Katie and Preston captured their winter Lake Tahoe engagement photos earlier this year and it was so stunning! Come check it out:

Last fall, they celebrated their proposal in South Lake Tahoe and I also had the honor of capturing it for them!! Go check that out here.

Katie really wanted something that was soooo them and had very classy, timeless vibes, and I feel like we did just that. Scroll down to see what I mean. We started out at Idle Hour Tahoe and it was the cutest lil spot on the lake. I’d never been there before and the owner and the employees were so beyond kind & accommodating!! They dedicated an entire corner of their bar just for us, and even showed me the downstairs area if we wanted to shoot there too — it was a dream getting to capture their story in this lil gem on the lake! We had some wine, charcuterie board, and played games over looking the lake, it was perfect.

After that we headed to a snowy meadow nearby and they ran around, acted like goof-balls and watched the sun go down. It was phenomenal. We chatted about their dreamy wedding that’ll happen this summer in Lake Tahoe (I literally can’t wait for this day) and celebrated their engagement!
