the stories of my couples and their biggest adventure yet
We danced to music, explored lake side, they took their shoes off and got their feet a little wet and dirty as they navigated over the rocks, and celebrated the fact that they’re now married!!! Getting the chance to become such close friends with these two, and then getting to capture their
G + J came to Tahoe and wanted to explore North Lake together. We woke up at the crack of dawn, grabbed some coffee and hit the beach! I took them to one of my favorite beaches in North Lake and they fell in love!! We took photos for their engagement session just as the sun started to come over the mountains.
Emily and Aric and I took their engagement photos at Moon Rocks this Spring and it was seriously the most chill, incredible evening together!! We made mixed drinks in the back of my car, hiked in the desert tipsy, made a campfire, ate tacos and tequila, and ended the night with smores and deep conversation.
We made it to the overlook at Cave Rock in Lake Tahoe and took it all in to kick off their engagements, and then made our way back down! We hopped in the car, and then drove up to North Shore to head to their favorite lil restaurant that’s super special to them – Lone Eagle Grille. We ordered some drinks to go (plastic cups for the win lol) and walked on the beach til sundown. We found a few lawn chairs and hung out for a bit, told stories, and just soaked up the sun and the fact that they’re gettin married!!!
Ahh this was the best day this past winter exploring and adventuring around South Lake Tahoe with these two!! Some of my good friends K + W and I headed up to the lake to explore and take their engagement photos with all the beautiful snow that just fell!! We went to South Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake– two of my favorite places ever! We ran around in the snow, laughed our asses off telling stories and playing music, and then ended the evening getting sushi. It was perfect. So freakin excited for you guys!!! CONGRATS!
We bundled up and ran outside to start their engagements on the pier in Lake Tahoe!!! We ran around on the beach together and Jessica’s hair was all over the place hahaha. It was amazing. We were getting too cold so we ran back inside to warm up and take a break.
So we decided on a location in North Lake Tahoe as the final plan. We had gone back and forth with a few different locations, but with the amount of snow Tahoe got this winter, I figured this beach would be perfect!
Carlene and Bobby wanted to celebrate their anniversary doing their favorite thing– exploring around Lake Tahoe with their pups while playing in the snow. We had the best time having snow ball fights, laughing with their dogs running around and exploring their backyard together this winter. Thanks for letting me capture this beautiful time in your lives!!
Maivi and Neil reached out to me about a month before their elopement, and wanted to squeeze in their engagement session as well! So we drove up to Lake Tahoe and shot in the prettiest snow-filled meadow as the snow started to fall. Very quickly we realized that the light snowfall turned into a straight-up blizzard hahah and we toughed it out to make magic!! Then we ran to the cars to warm up for a bit and thaw out our fingers. We explored North Shore a bit and hit a beach to finish out their adventure– it was an absolute dream!!! Cannot even wait to share their magical winter elopement soon. Enjoy!
Rachel, Ozzy and I met up in South Lake Tahoe to shoot their adventurous engagement session and connected on such a deep level and totally bonded, explored South Lake Tahoe in some of my favorite places, and it was a total dream evening this fall!
"When looking for a photographer for our elopement, Bridgette came highly recommended by a friend. After spending time browsing her photos, I knew we could not pass up the opportunity to shoot with someone who could capture mine and my husband’s quirky love so well! Bridgette was so accommodating and excited from the first time we spoke. She continued to show the accommodation and excitement through the cold weather during our engagement shoot and wedding day. She goes above and beyond and came so well prepared it made the day a breeze. Her sunny personally and calming effect really helped ease the stress of being in front of the camera. The photos turned out so beautiful, and that is just the icing on the cake during this whole experience. We feel like we became friends with Bridgette and can’t wait to work with her again in the future!"
