Nalee and Chandler’s Emerald Bay Elopement

Nalee and Chandler’s Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe elopement was filled with emotional moments, breathtaking scenery, and thoughtful details. From exchanging vows overlooking Emerald Bay, to celebrating their evening at Primos, their wedding day was so special!

Getting Ready at an Airbnb in South Lake Tahoe

Nalee and Chandler began their wedding day at a cozy Airbnb in South Lake Tahoe, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Upstairs, Nalee and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done while the girls’ pink bridesmaid dresses hung up. Their dog, Floyd, ran around the house and it was so cute seeing him so happy!

Meanwhile, Chandler and the guys spent their time downstairs playing pool, drinking beers, and enjoying a laid-back start to the day.

Once everyone was ready, Nalee and Chandler shared an emotional first look outside the Airbnb. Seeing each other for the first time made everything feel real, and neither of them could hold back their emotions. Afterward, we took photos with Floyd and captured all the fun photos with their bridal party before leaving for Emerald Bay!

Bridal Portraits at Emerald Bay

After getting-ready photos and the first look, I left the Airbnb with Nalee and Chandler to photograph their bridal portraits at Emerald Bay!

This location is absolutely incredible. Emerald Bay’s bright blue water, towering green pine trees, and mountain views created the perfect backdrop for their wedding portraits. We took our time exploring the area and capturing a mix of candid, documentary-style moments and more editorial images that highlighted both the couple and the beauty of Lake Tahoe.

These portraits perfectly captured the peaceful and romantic feeling of their Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe elopement.

An Intimate Wedding Ceremony at Emerald Bay

Nalee and Chandler exchanged vows at Emerald Bay with their 20 closest guests there to celebrate with them.

Their ceremony was intimate, emotional, and focused on what mattered most: committing their lives to one another while surrounded by the people they love. With Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains behind them, they officially became husband and wife!

After the ceremony, we captured family portraits and more photos with their guests before everyone headed back to South Lake Tahoe for the reception.

Wedding Reception at Primo’s in South Lake Tahoe

Nalee and Chandler celebrated their wedding evening at Primo’s in South Lake Tahoe. Their reception included curated drinks, delicious appetizers, heartfelt toasts, and plenty of time to relax and celebrate with their family and friends.

One of the sweetest details of the evening was the custom wedding cake made by Nalee’s sisters. The cake included a tiny version of Floyd taking a bite out of it, making sure their beloved dog was represented in another special part of the celebration.

It was the perfect ending to a beautiful Lake Tahoe wedding day—personal, intimate, and filled with meaningful details.
