Mackenzie and Evan had the most incredible elopement in Lake Tahoe! At the end, she surprised her husband with a boat ride, it was epic! Come check it out:

Sunrise Lake Tahoe Elopement

Mackenzie and Evan eloped on June 2, 2026, and it was a dream!! We met at sunrise on the side of the road, and then walked down to the beach where they would share their vows & have their ceremony. Mackenzie’s best friend from high school joined us as well, and she officiated their ceremony which was so special!! Right after their ceremony, the sun peaked over the mountain and we explored & took photos by the water. This is one of my favorite spots to shoot at since the water is SO CLEAR!! What was even better? There wasn’t a soul in sight and they could celebrate their marriage on the beach all to themselves!

Surprise Elopement Boat Ride

A few hours later, we all drove to Garwoods. Mackenzie told Evan that we were going to take some more photos there on the dock, but there was a bigger surprise happening!! She actually booked a boat ride through the Wild Goose, a local Lake Tahoe boat company, to surprise Evan! Once the boat started driving up to dock at Garwoods, Mackenzie explained it to him and he was so shocked!! He couldn’t believe it, and was over the moon.

Once we were on the boat, they enjoyed some champagne, cut their wedding cake, and soaked up the view from the lake. It was a dream!!
