Stefani & Derek’s Summer Wedding at High Camp Palisades
Stefani and Derek got ready within the Palisades Village with their best friends and family, and it was the most perfect day!! 85 degrees out, slight breeze coming through the windows while they hung out and slowly got ready for their wedding! Stefani had the MOST stunning dress from Maggie Sottero and it was TO DIE FOR. After they both got ready for the day, they headed to the meadow at Palisades for their first look!

Once Derek arrived at the meadow, I had my second photographer help him out there to wait for Stefani. I drove her there separately & hiked up her dress to walk through the tall grass haha, and then they shared their first look together!!! IT WAS UNREAL. Derek was in awe and couldn’t stop smiling! They hugged and laughed and cried, and then we took some photos of them in this epic meadow together!!
Wedding Ceremony at High Camp Palisades
Then we all headed to the tram to get up to their ceremony at High Camp! We rode the tram up and it was so much fun!! Music was playing and you could see so much of the lake and mountains from inside. We arrived and Rachel (planner) and Jessica (florist) completely OUTDID themselves!!! The details for the ceremony and reception space were so stunning. Stefani (the bride) even designed the numbered cards for each table and used watercoloring – it was so beautiful!
Everyone headed outside on the back deck for their ceremony. They shared personal vows and some traditions, and had a few loved ones share some quotes/readings that were so meaningful. They also incorporated some Jewish traditions like breaking the glass & then did the damn thing!!!
High Camp Wedding Reception
The entire evening was spent celebrating Stefani and Derek and it was a blast. From heartfelt speeches from their parents, loved ones and best friends, to performing The Hora and lifting up the couple in the chairs while everyone chanted and danced, to just loving on them all night long. We took a moment to head outside for sunset photos and they were so beautiful!!! We caught the sun at the perfect time, and even got a few photos with the Aerial Tram going by.
Congrats x a million Stefani & Derek!!! Your wedding was an absolutely dream & it was an honor to be the one photographing it. Let’s do it all over again!!? 😉
