Edgewood’s lakefront setting is hard to beat, especially for couples wanting a beautiful space that feels elevated without being over the top. For small weddings, you still get access to the stunning grounds, the private beach, the tall pines, and that glassy Tahoe water—just with fewer logistics and way more intimacy.
Whether you choose a quiet morning ceremony with the mountains glowing behind you or an early-evening exchange of vows during golden hour, this venue gives you a natural backdrop that does most of the work for you.
The Experience of a Small Tahoe Wedding
With around 20–40 guests, your day can flow at a slower, more intentional pace. Many couples choose a first look on the lakefront path, followed by portraits around Edgewood’s pines and beach access. After the ceremony, a cozy dinner reception—often inside one of Edgewood’s private dining spaces—creates the perfect environment for heartfelt toasts, good food, and quality time with your closest people.
Small weddings at Edgewood Tahoe also allow room for light adventuring. You can slip away for sunset photos along the water or venture a few minutes down the shoreline for views that feel cinematic while still staying close to your guests.
Madison & Hank’s Wedding Day
Madison and Hank had the best day eloping with their closest family!! They started out with a first look in the trees, right along the water. They were so excited to see each other, it was so sweet! They shared personal vows, and then we took some photos on the beach before their ceremony.
Then it was time for their ceremony and Madison’s dad walked her down the aisle! They got married with glistening Tahoe in the background, it was a literal dream. The rest of their evening was so calm and chill! They had apps and drinks, chatted with their loved ones, and hung out for a few hours. They rented a private room inside of Edgewood, and it fit their guest size perfectly.
After dinner, we ran out at sunset for a few bridals with that dreamy golden light. They watched the sunset together, and soaked it all in. They ended the night with some speeches and mingling, and it was perfect!!
