Kendra and Nick had the most beautiful South Lake Tahoe elopement this summer. They celebrated with 10 of their closest family and loved ones, come check it out!

Kendra & Nick’s Wedding Day

Kendra and Nick rented out this stunning Airbnb in South Lake Tahoe, and enjoyed a slow morning. Kendra got her make up done and hung out with the girls upstairs, and Nick started to get ready as I was arriving. I captured their details which were so beyond stunning. I always love getting creative with the rings and using my flash as well (see photo below).

Their elopement had plenty of breathing room within their timeline so that way they can just truly soak up every single second of the best weekend of their lives! After they got ready, I took a few portraits of them, and then we headed out for their first look!

First look in the Forest in South Lake Tahoe

They opted for a private first look in the forest and I had scouted this beautiful spot that was only a few blocks away. Nick was so excited to see Kendra for the first time, and see how beautiful she looked! They had tears in their eyes, gave each other hugs, and then started to share their private vows. Nick couldn’t hold back the emotion and had tears streaming down his face. It was the most beautiful thing to witness and document for these two…

Elopement Ceremony at Emerald Bay

After their first look, we went back to the Airbnb and rounded up the rest of their family so we could head out for their ceremony! They had their ceremony at Emerald Bay and even hired a violinist to play live music. It was truly the most beautiful summer day in Lake Tahoe! Kendra’s dad walked her down the hill to their ceremony where they committed their lives to each other with their 10 closest loved ones. Everyone was so happy for them!

I love this spot for elopements since it’s such an epic spot that overlooks Lake Tahoe. How can you beat this!?

Adventurous Elopement in South Lake Tahoe

After their ceremony, their family went back to the Airbnb, and we set out for an adventure in South Lake Tahoe! They truly wanted to soak up this time and have an epic adventure together just the two of them, what’s better than that!? I showed them around the lake, we explored waterfalls, docks, beaches, overlooks, and so much more.

Cozy Elopement Evening at the Airbnb

Their elopement evening was truly one for the books. It was so special because we got back after exploring around the lake, and their family had decorated the tables inside the Airbnb for them! They had florals and plates set up with candles, and it was just so intentional and special.

They spent the evening telling stories, enjoying dinner together, and then ended the evening dancing on the back deck as the sun went down. It was so beautiful!!!
