Summer Vow Renewal in Lake Tahoe || Rebbeka & Benjamin

This summer vow renewal in Lake Tahoe was one of my favorites by far. Rebbeka and Ben came to Lake Tahoe just the two of them, to celebrate 10 years of marriage together! Keep reading to learn more about their story & view the images from their dreamy sunrise vow renewal!

We woke up early and were planning on taking photos at Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe, but quickly realized that wasn’t going to work since they had the area coned off. Thankfully, I come prepared and have lots of locations and spots up my sleeve for all my couples! We come up with backup plans and I know the area so well, so we didn’t stress at all! I told them to trust me and we went to this local, secret gem location instead! And it’s SO STUNNINGGG. This was my first time taking photos here, and it didn’t disappoint.

Summer Photos in Lake Tahoe

We started our decent down to the lake, taking photos as we went! You just can’t beat the view Lake Tahoe offers, especially with the green pine trees and deep blues of the lake in the distance.

We made it down to the beach and I was freaking out inside hahaha. We had the entire beach to ourselves (that’s why you shoot at sunrise people, especially in the summer), and the colors were to die for. We explored the area, climbed on the rocks and played in the water, before heading to our next location.

Dreamy Vow Renewal in Lake Tahoe

We hiked back up to the cars, and then drove up the road to another epic spot! I keep most of them private from my blogs since that’s such a big perk of hiring a local photographer! I can share so many of my favorite spots around the lake, and have an entire location guide filled with them! I’ve got you 😉

We hiked to the top of the rock formation, took it all in, and popped some champagne!! Rebbeka and Ben ended up sharing their private vows just the two of them later that day, but wanted to go on an adventure & have it captured to remember this time for the rest of their lives. What better way to celebrate 10 years together!?

R & B – the biggest congrats to you two!! It was such an honor to capture this time in your lives, I can’t even wait to take your family photos one day!
