Summer Wedding at Las Cascadas || Karlie & Jake

This summer wedding at Las Cascadas in Reno was one for the books!!! They partied all freakin night with their loved ones and it was EPICCC. Karlie and I go WAYYY back to high school and I’ve shot with them in their home town in Oregon, and now I was able to shoot her wedding day!! It’s always so special being apart of so many milestones in my couples lives!!

They got married on the most gorgeous new wedding venue in Reno — Las Cascadas. It doesn’t even look like a venue when you drive up to it since you drive through this gate off the side of the road, and then BAM! It’s magic. There’s rock formations and waterfalls, and a little taste of Italy on the inside. It’s super modern and gorgeous and was absolutely perfect for Karlie and Jake’s wedding day! Also – this is the venue where Jake asked Karlie’s dad permission to marry her, so it holds such a special place in their hearts.

The entire day was filled with so much intention and so so much love. One of my favorite moments (and everyone’s to be honest) was when Jake saw Karlie walking down the aisle for the first time. He started crying and completely got choked up– there truly wasn’t a dry eye around. They shared personal vows to each other with their favorite friends and family to witness, and said “I do”!!!

The three words that Karlie and Jake used to describe their wedding day was garden, rustic, and happy. And it was definitely all of that. Freakin congrats ya’ll — love you both SO MUCH!!!
