There’s something about a Tahoe sunset that just makes everything feel so perfect, and this session with Catherine and Matt was exactly that.

Last week (early April 2026), we took sunset photos on the beach in North Lake Tahoe at one of my favorite spots! They also brought their dog Annie, and it was her first time experiencing Tahoe and she was living her best life—sprinting through the sand, chasing the waves and all haha.

Catherine and Matt told me they’d never had their photos taken before, which made this session feel even more special! I absolutely LOVEEE taking photos of couples for the first time, and showing them just how fun & easy it can be. We played music, they cracked open some beers, and we ran around on the beach barefoot til sundown… it was perfect. I’m so happy for you guys, congrats!!
