This surprise sunrise Lake Tahoe proposal was such a dream morning to be apart of!! Garett surprised Kate with a proposal this winter in Lake Tahoe and she said yes!! She was so surprised and excited she had tears streaming down her face. It was perfect. Keep reading to learn more about their proposal!

A DREAM WINTER PROPOSAL IN LAKE TAHOE

Garrett reached out to me months before their proposal to plan out all the details. Kate, Garrett and I had been wanting to take photos together a few times, but of course covid and the state of the world kept messing up our plans. They already had planned to come up to Lake Tahoe in early January of 2022, so he thought it would be the perfect time — and it was!!

Garrett and I planned out all the details, and then I reached out to Kate a month or two before to see if they wanted to model for me for a shoot I had been wanting to do. We knew she’d be super down to shoot since we were trying to shoot together for so long prior, so we knew it would work great!! She had NO IDEAAAA.

The day came and we all drove up to the lake together at sunrise for their proposal, took photos for a bit to make sure Garrett was ready to pop the question (we had a few code words hahaha), and then they got engaged!!! It was such a perfect moment, and you can really tell how surprised she was based on her reaction. So honored to be apart of this perfect moment! Afterwards, we drove to a local breakfast spot and had some food and coffee while they called their loved ones.
