Winter Lake Tahoe Beach Photos
Dakota and Cole eloped in 2023, and didn’t take photos of that time — so they knew they wanted photos to remember this time in their lives & share with the world. Which brings me to this incredible day.
They absolutely LOVE spending time in Lake Tahoe and were taking a trip January 2024! Dakota emailed me and was like “Okayyy I know it’s last minute but I’d love to take photos, here’s our story. You down?” — or something along those lines haha. So we planned this incredible adventure! Plan A didn’t work out, so we ran with plan B, and it was suchhh a meaningful afternoon.
Dakota really wanted to capture the blues and greens of Lake Tahoe, so sunset was out for us — and we opted for a stunning mid-day shoot at literally 1pm haha. And it’s become my favorite thing. Capturing those colors that makes all of our jaws drop is what brings me so much joy, and it’s exactly what Dakota was envisioning. She even HAND-MADE a cake that said “married” to share with the world that they did the damn thing!!!!
