This winter Tannenbaum wedding was such a dream to capture! Derek and Amber celebrated with their favorite people on earth, check it out!
If you’re dreaming of a winter wedding that feels like it’s straight out of a storybook, the Tannenbaum in Lake Tahoe offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and alpine elegance. Nestled among towering pines and snow-covered peaks, this venue captures the magic of the season while providing a warm, intimate setting for your wedding day! With its dramatic stone fireplace, exposed wooden beams, and panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada, the Tannenbaum is a stunning location for your winter wedding!
One of the greatest advantages of a winter wedding at the Tannenbaum is the cozy, festive atmosphere it naturally creates. While summer weddings often rely on elaborate florals and outdoor scenery, a winter celebration here feels complete with twinkling lights, crackling fires, and the quiet beauty of freshly fallen snow. You can lean into the seasonal charm with winter-themed décor, hot cocoa bars, faux-fur wraps, and candlelit receptions that exude warmth and intimacy. It’s an ideal setting for couples who want something different — a celebration that feels both elegant and deeply personal.
Beyond aesthetics, a winter wedding at the Tannenbaum can also be more practical. With fewer crowds in Lake Tahoe compared to the peak summer season, your guests can enjoy a more peaceful experience — from lodging and travel to exploring the local area. Plus, many vendors offer off-season pricing, making it easier to plan the wedding of your dreams within budget. Whether you’re exchanging vows in front of the grand fireplace or stepping outside for snowy portraits, the Tannenbaum in winter offers a serene, stunning setting that’s hard to beat.
Derek and Amber had the most incredible Winter wedding at the Tannenbaum! Amber got ready at the most beautiful property right around the corner with her family and friends. They slowly got ready, Amber got her makeup done, and looked at her sparkly, bedazzled dress hanging in the window seal. Amber packed up her things and headed to the venue to see Derek for the first time!
Derek was already at the venue with his groomsmen hanging out, having some beers, and getting some lunch before the big day started. Right up the street, Derek and Amber shared their first look and it was an absolute dream!! It was truly a winter wedding out of a storybook. There was snow everywhere and even the road was covered in snow as well. They were so happy to see each other and the tears started flowing. Derek even had a personalized gift that he gave her as a wedding gift for their wedding day with some of their favorite keepsakes in it. We decided to take a few bridles at this point as well because how could you not!? The scenery was absolutely to die for.
After this, we headed back to the venue and it was time for their ceremony. They share their vows, their loved ones teared up, and they made it official! The rest of their day was an absolute party and it was so much fun! They danced and laughed and all of their loved ones celebrated them so much. It was such a dream to capture your winter wedding at the Tannenbaum Derrek and Amber!! I can’t even wait for what’s next in your journey.
