Modern Winter Wedding at Tuscan Falls

Kay and Adam had the most gorgeous winter wedding this past November!! It was definitely a stormy day, but the overcast, gloomy weather didn’t affect their mood or the day one bit. I arrived to take detail photos when the bride and her bridesmaids arrived! She got into her dress and seriously looked like a freaking QUEEN.

I’d only shot at Tuscan Falls at D’Andrea once prior, and it’s such a gorgeous venue in Sparks, NV! Especially when it’s overcast like it was for Kay and Adam’s wedding day there, the colors are to die for. It overlooks the entire city and you can see the mountains in the distance!

After Kay got ready, we spent a few moments taking photos of just her in the window-seal, about to share a first look with her dad and with her groom. I love having my bride and grooms take a few moments before they head into the rest of the day, to truly just soak it all in.

Winter Wedding Inspiration

Kay shared a first look with dad, and then got to see Adam for the first time!! They had their first look outside behind Tuscan Falls, where you can see the city in the back, it was stunning! They both were so excited to see each other and read their vows in private.

The ceremony was overlooking the waterfall area of the venue, although they turned it off since it was in November and everything would have froze haha. They had the most beautiful floral setup and hand warmers on the chairs for their guests. My hands were numb to say the least, but it was so gorgeous!! They did the damn thing, and then I stole them for portraits afterwards!!

There was a huge storm rolling in, so we opted for newlywed photos first, and then fam photos and everything else after inside.

Wedding at Tuscan Falls Inspiration

Their wedding reception was so gorgeous!! They put drapes along the walls, and hung string lights above the tables to give more soft, ambient lighting to the area and it was gorgeous. They shared speeches with their loved ones, got down on the dance floor, and then had a bubble exit at the end of the night!!! LIKE YOU’RE KIDDING. Are these photos not the best thing you’ve ever seen!? Such a fun and creative way to end your wedding day!

Kay and Adam, it’s been a dream getting to work with you for so many milestones and memories, and this was the best day yet. Love y’all!!! Congrats!
