BRIDGETTE WUEST

If you’re dreaming of a mountain wedding that combines luxury with breathtaking scenery, it’s hard to imagine a better setting than an Everline Resort wedding in Lake Tahoe. Surrounded by towering pines, alpine peaks, and endless natural beauty, Everline offers couples an unforgettable place to celebrate with their closest family and friends. This beautiful June wedding perfectly captured everything that makes summer in the Sierra Nevada so magical—from sunny blue skies to golden evening light.

As a Lake Tahoe wedding photographer, one of my favorite parts about photographing weddings at Everline is how effortlessly the venue blends elegant architecture with the surrounding landscape. Every corner of the property offers beautiful backdrops, making it easy to create timeless images throughout the entire wedding day.

Why June Is One of the Best Months to Get Married at Everline

June is one of the most beautiful times of year for a wedding in Olympic Valley. The mountains are lush and green after the spring snowmelt, wildflowers begin blooming throughout the area, and daytime temperatures are comfortable without the intense heat of midsummer.

One of the biggest advantages of a June wedding is the longer daylight hours. Couples have plenty of time to enjoy every part of their celebration while still having enough light for portraits before sunset. As the evening approaches, the soft golden light filtering through the pine trees creates the perfect setting for romantic wedding portraits.

While mountain weather can always be unpredictable, June typically offers clear skies and comfortable temperatures that allow couples to fully enjoy Everline’s beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception spaces.

Getting Ready at Everline Resort

The day began with both the bride and groom getting ready inside Everline’s spacious guest suites. Having everyone stay at the resort makes the morning feel relaxed and stress-free, with everything conveniently located just steps away.

The bridal suite offered beautiful natural light for getting-ready photos, while the groom spent the morning laughing with his groomsmen before everyone gathered for the first look.

One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings is documenting these quieter moments before the excitement of the ceremony begins. They’re often some of the most emotional memories from the entire day.

An Outdoor Ceremony Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada

The couple exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends with the stunning Sierra Nevada mountains serving as their backdrop. Everline’s ceremony location offers panoramic mountain views while still feeling intimate, allowing guests to fully take in the beauty of Lake Tahoe’s alpine landscape.

The natural setting requires very little additional décor because the scenery speaks for itself. Elegant floral arrangements and simple details complemented the mountains without competing with them.

As the couple walked back down the aisle together, the excitement and joy from everyone in attendance made for some of the most genuine moments of the day.

Wedding Portraits Around the Resort

One of the biggest reasons I love photographing at Everline is the incredible variety of portrait locations available without ever leaving the property.

From winding forest paths and open meadows to mountain views and beautiful stone architecture, there are endless opportunities to create images that feel both adventurous and timeless. We spent time exploring several locations around the resort while allowing the couple to simply enjoy being together.

Rather than spending hours posing, my approach focuses on creating natural movement and genuine interactions. I’ll guide you every step of the way so your photos feel relaxed, authentic, and true to your relationship.

An Elegant Mountain Reception

As guests made their way into the reception, the space was filled with warm candlelight, soft florals, and thoughtful details that reflected the couple’s style.

Heartfelt toasts, an energetic dance floor, and plenty of laughter filled the evening. One of the things I love most about weddings at Everline is how seamlessly the celebration flows from one part of the day to the next, allowing couples to spend more time enjoying their wedding rather than worrying about logistics.

As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, we stepped outside one last time for a few sunset portraits. The soft evening light and peaceful atmosphere created the perfect ending to an incredible wedding day.

Planning Your Everline Wedding

If you’re planning an Everline wedding, you’ll find a venue that offers everything from luxury accommodations and exceptional service to some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in Lake Tahoe. Whether you’re envisioning an intimate celebration or a larger wedding with all of your favorite people, Everline provides an unforgettable setting in every season.

One of the biggest benefits of getting married here is having nearly everything in one location. Your guests can stay on-site, enjoy the resort throughout the weekend, and experience everything Olympic Valley has to offer without needing to travel between multiple venues.
