Jess and Josh celebrated their epic fall wedding at the Chalet View Lodge and it was straight outta my dreams!!!! Keep reading and scrolling to hear about their wedding day!
Jess reached out to me about a year prior and I feel like we’ve become best friends. I shot their engagement photos in Lake Tahoe at their grandparents property and it was FREEZING to say the least haha. It was snowing and windy but we bonded instantly over hockey lol! Seriously the best day.
Getting to Jess on such a deeper level made her wedding day that much more special to me. I just adore her and Josh and their entire fam. I even bonded with her mom at the reception over camera gear and photography since it’s a hobby of hers hahah — they’re the best.
Wedding Day
Then it was wedding day!!! Jess and Josh’s day was a fall dream. So many beautiful colors in the trees and out the windows. The Chalet View Lodge is so perfect for wedding days because it has the cutest lil cabins in the woods and so many places for epic photos.
They started out the day getting ready with their fam and wedding parties, and then had a first look by the pond. They exchanged gifts and had a friend bring their pup S’more down!!!! I WAS A PUDDLEEE.
We took wedding party photos, danced and celebrated and then all cried at their ceremony. It was so gorgeous to witness. They walked down the aisle and had flower petals thrown at them — seriously some of my favorite ceremony exit photos I’ve ever taken.

Then Ren (the wedding planner) grabbed me and the newlyweds and we hopped on a golf cart into the forest. We took the dreamiest sunset photos, and when I showed Jess a preview she literally started crying!? So honored and so sweet. I just love her.
We headed back to the tent and partied all freakin night long. Jess changed into the cutest sweat suit everrrr and I was obsessed.
Seriously best day ever. Thank you guys so much for wanting me to be apart of it all — I can’t even wait for all the epic moments in your future!!! CONGRATS AGAIN! xx
