There’s something SO magical about summer at Emerald Bay, and that’s probably why I do so many shoots here in Lake Tahoe! With crystal-clear blue water, towering pine trees, and breathtaking cliff-like mountain views, it’s one of the most iconic locations for engagement photos in Lake Tahoe.

For this summer engagement session, we explored some of Emerald Bay’s most scenic overlooks while celebrating Josephene and Jason’s engagement!! The bright blues and greens of Tahoe just truly never get old. Rather than focusing on stiff poses, we spent the session walking, laughing, listening to music, and enjoying the incredible scenery together. This & getting to know my couples on a deeper level, is how we make magic and take the best photos, all while allowing them to feel comfortable and not stiff. A DREAM.
