Madelana and Ian celebrated their wedding at Dancing Pines this summer, and it was a dream! They invited 75 of their favorite humans, and partied all night! Come check it out:
Summer Wedding Day at Dancing Pines
Ian and the boys & his groomsmen got ready together at a hotel in Truckee, CA. He freshly shaved his face, and got ready with his buddies! Then I headed to Dancing Pines to meetup with Madelana and take details of her favorite items, and capture her getting ready as well. She put on the MOST GORGEOUS sequin wedding dress from Swoon. It truly fit her like a glove and it was stunning. We took photos with her and her girlies, and then grabbed some champagne and headed out for her first look with Ian!

Their first look was one for the books. We drove up the road to this overlook where the mountains and this epic meadow were beyond us. Ian was so excited to see her, it was so sweet!! We explored a bit and took portraits here because how can you not!?
Then we headed back to Dancing Pines to have their wedding ceremony! Every moment was so special from their friends doing readings, their dog Goose attending and the river running behind them. They said “I do” and did the damn thing!!!
They celebrated the night away with dances, speeches, and good times with their favorite people.
Congrats M & I!!! It was a dream to be apart of your wedding day.

“To capture even special moments between each other, even if they’re more private from the larger group. I’d love some black and white photos too! I’m equally as excited about the more staged/portrait photos as I am the fun/romantic/candid ones.”

“We were looking for something outdoors that we could make our own! The boys will be in tuxedos and my dress is sequins, so we’re trying to bring a bit of formality to the rustic outdoors!
