Winters Creek Lodge

Michelle and Sam’s Winters Creek Lodge wedding brought together their love of skiing, mountain adventures, and their favorite people. Located at Mt. Rose–Ski Tahoe, Winters Creek Lodge offers a beautiful ski lodge setting with sweeping views of Washoe Valley. Its modern architecture and large windows bring the mountain scenery indoors, giving couples a setting that feels connected to the outdoors throughout the celebration. For Michelle and Sam, getting married at a ski resort made the day feel especially personal.

Adventure Bridals in Lake Tahoe

After getting ready, Michelle and Sam shared a first look at the base of Mt. Rose before hopping onto the chairlift for photos. It was such a fun way to incorporate something they love into their wedding portraits! From there, we headed out for adventure bridals in Lake Tahoe, exploring the meadows and stopping at an overlook above the lake. Between the open landscapes and the mountain views, we had plenty of beautiful backdrops before heading back to the lodge for their ceremony.

Ceremony at Winters Creek Lodge

Michelle and Sam kept their ceremony short and sweet, surrounded by their loved ones. After spending time exploring together, this part of the day brought everyone together to celebrate what it was all about. Their Winters Creek Lodge wedding balanced time for adventure with time to be present with the people closest to them, making the ceremony a meaningful pause before the evening’s festivities.

Dinner, Dancing, and Reception

Dinner led into a night of dancing, and Michelle and Sam’s personalities showed up throughout the celebration. They incorporated ski-inspired elements into their wedding as a nod to their shared love of the slopes, but one of the most fun details was the oversized cutouts of their animals’ faces! Guests held them up as everyone danced the night away, making sure their pets were part of the party, too. It was a playful, personal ending to a day filled with mountain scenery, adventure, and so much love.
